About Us

My name is Jacob Thompson and I grew up in the Coeur d’ Alene and Post Falls area. I graduated from Post Falls in 1999, after that I joined the United States Marine Corps and served four honorable years. After leaving the Marine Corps I relocated to Austin, Texas where I lived for the next 16 years, in which time I married my beautiful wife and had two children. Starting a family prompted me and my wife to move back to the Coeur d’ Alene area in order to be closer to family. Since being back in Coeur d’ Alene I noticed a need for backflow testing and sprinkler repairs. So in 2022 I started Blu Backflow, and I am excited to serve the community’s needs of backflow testing and sprinkler repairs.
