Justin has been an artist since the day he was born and discovered his love for graphic design at an early age. Raised by an incredibly-talented salesman father and plant-scientist-turned-teacher mother, Justin fused his love for the arts and science in the advertising world after beginning his education career in mechanical engineering. Justin graduated from the University of Idaho and has since spent his time working as an in-house designer and marketer, as a freelancer, as the marketing director for one of the largest ad agencies in the CDA-Spokane Metro Area, and as of 2020, decided to strike it out on his own and start his own advertising agency where he utilizes the skills, tools, and network that he’s established over the previous years working in the industry.

Working with his hands in the North Idaho residential building trades the majority of his career, partnering with the NIBCA has been a natural fit. Merritt is chairperson for the 2024 Home and Garden Show Committee.
